Canyoning in the Lost Canyon from Arenal

You will be picked up at the reception of your hotel in La Fortuna, or near the Arenal Volcano. We'll travel 15 minutes out of town, on a fun ride through a local rural community, before arriving at the Lost Canyon Ops Center. The activity includes breakfast or lunch depending on the time, transportation, safety equipment and bilingual guides.

Baby Steps – Begin the rappelling leg of your canyoning journey with the first waterfall known as “Baby”, a teeny 10 foot cascade that allows you to learn the ropes with ease – literally!

JUST LET GO!: Soon you will arrive at what we affectionately call "Big Boy", the second largest waterfall. This waterfall will get your adrenaline pumping! Your heart will race and your eyes will sparkle as you continue your journey through the canyon and prepare for Lost Canyon's greatest challenge: a thrilling 200-foot waterfall rappel.

Visit El Salto Waterfall: When your tour is over, settle in for your best meal in Costa Rica at our famous Hunters & Gatherers restaurant next to the El Salto Swimming Hole on the Fortuna River. You will enjoy a hearty meal before returning to your hotel.
