From 1964, the Museum has been collecting and exhibiting the heritage of the country in Behring Center on the National Mall in Washington D.C. 

Start the tour from the first floor to see the wonders of American technology and engineering such as the magnificent John Bull locomotive. Proceed to the Food Exhibition to learn how the new technologies transformed what we eat today and see Julia Child's recreated kitchen. Explore America on the Water and America on the Move exhibits to marvel at the early American Navy and all the types of vintage American vehicles. On the second floor, you will see, touch and hear the story of the original Star-Spangled Banner Flag. The third floor will take you to the military and political history of the United States where you will see the Gunboat Philadelphia and the famous exhibit of the outfits of the First Ladies of America.

Finish the tour at the museum's court yard where you can see the famous abstract Infinity Sculpture.
