Group Chocolate Manufactory Tasting Tour (12 - 24 participants)

At York Cocoa Works we are Chocolate makers that craft our own chocolate from cocoa we source from sustainable farms around the world. Our Tasting Journey invites you to join us to learn how chocolate is made from the cocoa bean and how we work with it to create our own chocolate range.

During your visit our chocolate team will share the secrets how we transform cocoa into chocolate. You will discover our origins and learn the rich history of chocolate making in York before taking a peek into our manufactory and watching our chocolate being made. This session concludes with a special tasting conducted by our cocoa connoisseur. You will sample the chocolate we make from cocoa beans all around the world, experiencing the different strengths and flavour notes in our range.

This workshop includes a tasting of a range of chocolates and cocoa ingredients, some can be sweet, bitter and creamy, please make our team aware if you have any special dietary requirements amongst your party so we can look after you on your visit.

Chocolate Manufactory Tour Group Booking

We are able to share an exclusive group booking for our Manufactory Tour for parties of between 12 and 24 participants 

Available for groups between 12 and 24 participants for an exclusive workshop in our Cocoa Academy at York Cocoa Works on week days only

Participants: £12.50

Duration: 1 hour

Chocolate to enjoy: 30g Chocolate samples per person

To book please select your preferred date and time from our reservation calendar and make payment of your non-refundable deposit which will secure your preferred date and time in our calendar.

Upon booking you will receive a confirmation of your event with us and further details to help you plan your trip to York.

You will receive an update from us approximately 3 weeks prior to your workshop requesting final numbers and special dietary requirements, outstanding balances will be invoiced based upon your anticipated numbers at this time, please get in touch if your numbers change or you need to make any further amendments before this time.

Your final balance should be paid 2 weeks before your workshop.

Please note this workshop has a limited capacity, please get in touch with our team if the numbers in your party change so we can cater for your requirements. It may be necessary to adjust your workshop timing if your group size drops below 12 or exceeds 24 participants.

Please be aware that the workshop will commence at the time you have booked, our team will always endeavour to welcome late arrivals, however chocolate does not like being rushed and this may impact the full experience you are able to have with us.
