Kallio is a former working-class district of Helsinki, and today it's the most bohemian and liberal area in the whole country, known also for its yummy and trendy restaurants. It has a colourful history, small lovely boutiques, coffee shops, second-hand shops, and many bars. While enjoying some of the most typical Finnish flavours, like Finnish fish, Finnish game and other amazing dishes accompanied by local beverages, you will hear stories about the area's history, architecture, fascinating personalities living in the area and much more!
At the moment the food tour includes the following culinary stops (please note that foods might vary):
1. Restaurant - Typical Finnish starter and typical Finnish cocktail
2. Local market hall - Finnish fish soup and local beer
3. Very traditional restaurant - Helsinki blinis with fish roe and wild mushroom salad and sahti
