The Serra do Mar State Park is about 50 kms from São Paulo downtown accessible by car in about 1 h. This astonishing mount range extends along the south and southeast coast of Brasil providing us with breathtaking views.

The walk has total length of 9 kms and lasts about 5 hours, round trip, taking place on a paved old winding road with a light level of difficulty, in the middle of the Atlantic Forest.

On clear days, visitors have a view of the coast and a set of cities including the first Portuguese settlement in Brasil, the city of Saint Vincent.

The place is home to a precious environmental heritage of great scenic beauty, in addition to a historical-cultural collection that marks periods of development of the state of São Paulo.
