Sloth Tour+Rain Forest Hike To See Rio Celeste Waterfall

Hidden within the Tenorio Volcano National Park, the Rio Celeste waterfall is one of the most majestic in Costa Rica, surrounded and covered by dense rainforest, it is the perfect place if you want to spot flora and fauna. The waterfall with its respective blue color stands out thanks to an optical effect caused by a mineral called aluminosilicates that is composed of Aluminum, silicon and oxygen, and being suspended in the water is responsible for reflecting sunlight, making the color of the water looks blue.

This tour is the best way to see the rain forest, sloths and more wildlife. The waterfall is a sky blue color waterfall which you can access by walking through the rainforest. In addition to the hike through the rainforest to see the Rio Celeste waterfall, we will also have access to a butterfly farm that is included with the typical lunch that we will have at the end of the tour.
