How about a Bento Box lunch with Ricaball making and a Shodo, Japanese calligraphy experience during your Yanaka stroll?

Let's create and design your dream lunch quickly with our friendly cooking sensei(teacher) in the down-to-earth & friendly neighborhood of Yanaka. You will select several popular homely dishes sold in the Yanaka neighborhood, including Japanese-style egg omelets, fried chicken, croquette, etc. To finish arranging your original bento box, let's be creative and make Onigiri rice balls with cute faces and shapes. You will plate all the items in a bento box, and voila! You have your lunch right here! At Yanaka House, you will enjoy eating like Tokyo's locals do. Enjoy your bento over Tokyo-roasted coffee, ko-hi, another house specialty. *If you are on a special diet or have food-related issues, please inform us when booking.

After lunch, our master calligrapher will teach you how to write basic calligraphy. Next, choose a character and write it while learning from the instructor. Finally, you can write your favorite character on colored paper. You will be able to create your unique keepsake.  Anyone can participate!
