Description
Start hiking up Mount Moses at night, to reach the summit at sunrise. Watch the sun rise from the same spot Moses is said to have received the 10 commandments. Visit the smallest and oldest dioceses in the world, which stands on the highest valley on the Sinai Peninsula at 2,642 m. This working monastery is still home to several monks. Included is a guided tour of the monastery, the burning bush and the idols and icons of worship.
