European Valley Tour: Blumenau and Pomerode

Description

Discover the two main tourist cities in the European Valley, Blumenau and Pomerode, famous for the influence of German culture in Brazil. The cities maintain strong European characteristics, which enchant their visitors with their typical architecture, gastronomy, nature, industries, beer and parties.

In Blumenau we will visit the beer museum, take a panoramic tour passing by the city hall, built in the half-timbered style (German style). We will head to Vila Germânica, where Oktoberfest, the second largest beer festival in the world, takes place, where we will have free time to stroll around and enjoy typical food.

We will continue to the city of Pomerode, a very charming small town, we will stop at the city gate and continue to the center where several attractions are located, all of which can be reached by walking. The Schornstein brewery, its official bar in the old building that gave rise to the factory, the Pomerano Museum, craft fair, Pomerode Zoo, Automobile Museum and Vila Encantada Park. You will have free time to enjoy some of these attractions. Finally, before returning, we will visit the Casa do Imigrante Carl Weege Museum, heritage of one of the city's founding families, showing what the routine of the colonizing families was like through a rich collection.

Comments. The tour does not include tickets to the Zoo, Pomerano Museum, Vila Encantada Park and Automobile Museum, an optional visit. The tour itinerary may change depending on traffic conditions. Lunch is not included in the tour. Congestion may occur on the road to Blumenau during holidays and party times. This tour will not be canceled for weather reasons (rain). Tour times are approximate and subject to change.
