2 day Þórsmörk valley Jeep tour

We´ll take the main road east from Reykjavík through the mountains of Helliðsheiði plateau and drive along the south coast passing small Icelandic farms all the way to the foot of the world famous Eyjafjallajökull volcano. We stop at Seljalandsfoss waterfall where the brave ones can take a walk behind the waterfall as it falls from the very high cliffs. After driving between two glaciers on the rutted tracks and crossing few unbridged glacier rivers we arrive at Þórsmörk valley at the foot of Mýrdalsjökull glacier and Katla volcano. Our second day starts with a drive from Þórsmörk, We stop at Stakkholtsgjá canyon and explore its hidden waterfall before we enter the road nr 1. Today we stop at the main sights on the south coast - the Skógarfoss waterfall, Reynisfjara black beach and Dyrhóley. Optional glacier hike on Sólheimajökull glacier.
