Discover Extra Virgin Olive Oil Special Designation "Seggianese"

Description
The area on the slopes of Monte Amiata is famous not only for its noble wines, but also for a special variety of olives: the "Seggianese".
Discover the characteristics of this wild plant, the Seggianese olive tree, and taste the succulent oil they secrete.
We will start with a walk among the fresh olive fronds in the Millenary Olive Park, a few steps from the Podere Montale winery. The guide will introduce you to this wild variety of olive tree, present only on the slopes of Mount Amiata, in a cool climate with a strong temperature range.
We continue with the visit to the Winery where we produce wines and we keep the oil and then head towards the panoramic terrace with a breathtaking view of the olive groves and vineyards of the Val d'Orcia.
Here will take place a journey through the Olive Oils of Italy: a comparison between different types of Extra Virgin Olive Oil from different areas and regions of Italy (Tuscany, Liguria, Apulia..).
