Half-day Nha Trang City Tour

Description
The tour will begin with a visit to Alexandre Yersin Museum. Alexandre Yersin was a Swiss born French physician but based himself in Nha Trang for nearly fifty years until his death in 1943. After the Museum, we visit Long Son Pagoda, which was founded in the 19th century and is a beautiful example of classic Buddhist architecture. The 14-meter-high Buddha statue that sits atop this site is visible from afar as one enters the city, and has great views of the city and surrounding countryside.
The next stop is Dam Market Which is regarded as the most famous market in the coastal city of Nha Trang because of its beautiful architecture and uniqueness. It is also Nha Trang's largest market with a more than 5.000 sqm floor surface and a capacity of up to 3.000 people. The final leg of our tour will take you to view some ancient Cham architecture at the Cham Ponagar temple complex. Locally referred to as Thap Ba, this set of ancient Cham temples is beautifully located on a hill just outside the city, and is reached by crossing the Cai River. Learn about the fascinating ancient civilization of the Hindu-worshipping Cham people as you wander around the fabulous temple grounds.
