6 Days - Northern Lights. Wonders of South Coast and Snaefellsnes

Description
This 6-day trip through southern Iceland is the perfect opportunity to discover a land of dramatic landscapes, ancient glaciers, and unique natural phenomena. Designed for small groups of 4 to 8 travelers, this soft adventure is ideal for those looking to explore Iceland at a relaxed pace, enjoying the country's beauty with a Spanish-speaking expert guide.
Our journey will take us through the iconic Golden Circle, where we'll visit Thingvellir National Park, the Strokkur geyser, and the majestic Gullfoss waterfall. As we head south, we’ll encounter the stunning Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss waterfalls, as well as the famous black sand beach of Reynisfjara, where the Atlantic meets volcanic land in a breathtaking natural spectacle.
One of the most special moments of the trip will be our arrival at the Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon and Diamond Beach, where icebergs from the glacier mingle with black sand, creating a surreal landscape. Additionally, we’ll explore the world of glaciers with a tour to a natural ice cave, guided by experts who will show us the fascinating interior of these icy giants.
The trip also takes us to the Reykjanes peninsula, with its geothermal fields, lakes, and craters, including a visit to the Seltún (Krýsuvík) geothermal field and the lava fields created by the recent eruption of Fagradalsfjall. To top off this adventure, we’ll enjoy a relaxing soak in the famous Blue Lagoon, known for its mineral-rich thermal waters.
A highlight of the trip is our excursion to the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, often called "Iceland in miniature," where we’ll visit Arnarstapi, the Snæfellsjökull glacier, and Kirkjufell, the country’s most photographed mountain, exploring dramatic cliffs, black sand beaches, and lava formations.
Throughout the journey, we’ll stay in 3-4 star hotels, carefully selected for their comfort and strategic location for Northern Lights viewing. The trip includes daily breakfasts and four dinners, so you can enjoy Icelandic cuisine without a worry.
This trip is a complete and sustainable experience, where you will discover the magic of Iceland in winter, its glacial landscapes, volcanic history, and awe-inspiring nature. Ideal for families (from 6 years old) and those who wish to explore the land of fire and ice authentically and without rush.
