Pompeii and Vesuvius Tour from Naples - Group Tour

Pick-up of the customer at the hotel, port or station as indicated by the customer at the time of booking. Transfer to Pompeii (about 40 minutes) in new and comfortable minibuses all equipped with air conditioning and guided by experienced and professional staff. Arrival at Pompeii excavations scheduled for about 11:00am. Guided tour (2 hours) of the archaeological excavations with a professional guide who will illustrate the history and the most valuable sites of the excavations such as the Forum, the Baths, the Lupanare, the Greek theater and the plaster casts of the bodies of the inhabitants of Pompeii buried by ashes and lapilli during the eruption of 79 AD. At the end of the visit, lunch break with pizza & drink formula. Then transfer to Torre del Greco from which you can access the Vesuvius National Park up to an altitude of 1000. Stop at the car park and walk to the top of the only active volcano in continental Europe. Visit the suggestive crater 1200 meters high from which it is possible to see the Gulf of Naples from Capo Miseno to the tip of Campanella. Return to the hotel at about 17:15 p.m.
