From Huelva: Algarve Private Day Trip

Description

The Algarve has a lot of Andalusia, its immense beaches, the open character of its people, and, of course, their taste for cuisine without artifice. Many sailors also set out from this coastline back in the 15th century in search of distant lands. Another similarity with the residents of Huelva and Extremadura.

The route begins with the pick-up of clients at the hotel or apartment in the coastal area of Huelva. We move directly to Lagos. If there is something that differentiates Lagos from other cities in Portugal, it is the nature that surrounds it. The best example of this is the Ponta da Piedade, a place that will leave you speechless. It is a set of cliffs, caves and beaches bathed by an Atlantic Ocean of an intense turquoise color.

We continue in Lagos to visit the Governors Castle, the walls and the Ponta da Bandeira fort. From Lagos, we continue the route to Carvoeiro to enjoy a traditional lunch on the beach area. But before continuing the route after lunch, we visited the picturesque Alfanzina lighthouse. On the way back, we stop in Albufeira to visit the Sâo Sebastiâo church and the picturesque seaport with its colorful buildings.

Our stop will be Faro, to discover the city's cathedral and enjoy a delicious Portuguese coffee before returning to the hotel or apartment.
