Albayzin & Sacromonte neighborhood private tour

Description

An essential guided tour to learn about the origins of the first Roma settlements in Spain and discover the founding city of pre-Nasrid Granada, where a neighborhood with narrow streets, whitewashed houses, and unique architecture has survived to this day.

We first take a guided tour of the Albaicín neighborhood to discover its intricate streets and Nasrid architecture, a neighborhood frozen in time that hides visual gems such as viewpoints, fountains, and springs. The San Cristóbal viewpoint and the famous San Nicolás viewpoint will be some of our points of visit until we reach the Sacromonte neighborhood.

The Roma who settled there lived in the famous cave houses of Sacromonte, masterfully portrayed in the book Romancero Gitano by the Spanish poet Federico García Lorca. A walk through the city's most artistic neighborhood, where the way of life has barely changed.

A general tour to delve deeper into the oldest part of Granada, exploring its primitive neighborhoods beyond the Alhambra, and gaining a deeper understanding of the city's culture and heritage.
