Know before you go
- Comfortable Footwear: As we'll be exploring several historical sites and filming locations, please wear comfortable walking shoes. Some locations may have uneven surfaces, so sturdy footwear is highly recommended.
- Weather-Appropriate Clothing: Scotland’s weather can be unpredictable, so it's a good idea to dress in layers. Bring a light waterproof jacket in case of rain and a hat and sunglasses for sunny spells. Even in the summer, it can be chilly, especially in the countryside.
- Camera/Smartphone: You'll want to capture the incredible scenery and iconic Outlander locations, so don't forget your camera or smartphone with plenty of storage for photos!
- Water Bottle: Staying hydrated is important throughout the day, so feel free to bring a water bottle. We'll also provide bottled water during the trip.
- Snacks: While we provide a lunch stop, it’s always good to have a snack on hand, especially if you tend to get hungry between stops. A small snack can keep your energy up during the tour.
- Sunscreen: If it's a sunny day, don’t forget sunscreen to protect yourself from UV rays, especially if you plan on spending a lot of time outside.
