Summer Adventure in the Land of the Wild Moose

Description
The lush Arctic forest is the home for our Arctic wild moose. In late spring their calves are born, and the forests protect the sensitive moose throughout the summer season. Join us for a summer adventure on the lookout for these majestic creatures, visiting their land and sharing their stories.
We meet at our Høgtun office for an exciting introduction to the wild moose and the Arctic wildlife before we drive out on our adventure. We walk through the forest landscapes and look for moose tracks, droppings, grazing and rubbing marks, and end up in our Hunter's hut to learn about our traditional hunting culture and the moose's value to the Arctic lifestyle. We will experience other iconic Arctic wildlife in their natural habitat as we move thorugh the forest and make sure we'll behave consciously and respectfully. The aim is to observe wildlife and to become aquainted with the land of the wild moose.
A light meal and coffee will be served at our Hunter's hut where we light a campfire.
This tour is organized in the period June 1st and September 30th. Book up to 24 hours before the adventure starts.
