Introduction to Arctic Bushcraft: Learn the basics

Embark on an Arctic Adventure unlike any other! Join us for an unforgettable experience where the beauty of the Arctic landscape meets the thrill of learning essential bushcrafting skills and techniques, suitable for the novice adventurer eager to learn.
Our aim is to learn how to use the wild Arctic nature to thrive outdoors, and we will focus on the following:
- Building a safe and nature friendly campfire, and techniques for keeping the fire alive
- Learn how to cook a meal over an open fire
- Learn how to use a knife to perform basic crafting skills
The guide is an experienced wilderness expert with years of practical experience.
Lunch is included in this experience. After you have mastered the skills of make a fire and know how to use the equipment, you are ready to prepare and cook your own lunch. The lunch menu varies after season and availability. If you have any dietary restrictions, please fill out the questionnaire during checkout.
Please note that this experience is best suited for you who have little or no previous outdoor experience. This is not an advanced survival course, but a soft introduction to the important culture of bushcraft.
This tour is organized in the period June 1st and September 30th. Book up to 48 hours before the adventure starts.
Please note that we require a minimum of two participants for the guided hike to be organized.

Duration: 3 hours
The total length of the hike is about 200 m, and we walk along a trail.
Level: Moderate. This experience requires the participant to be in a normal fit physical condition. Make sure you are dressed for Norwegian weather, and make sure you wear attire you can get dirty. The Arctic nature will not be considerate.

Lunch is included. When we have made our campfire, you will prepare and cook your own lunch over the open fire.

- Windproof attire
- Layered clothing (preferably wool)
