Go explore! The Bardufoss Region is rich with pristine wilderness for you to explore on your own. 

Our snowshoes are adapted for different types of landscape, so when you're booking we would greatly appreciate it if you gave us a little information about what type of hiking you are planning to do!

Know before you go

Make sure you are dressed for Arctic winter weather. Check yr.no for weather forecast.

We recommend the following for a day hike in non-extreme winter conditions:

  • Hiking shoes or boots with wool socks. Always keep a pair of dry socks in your backpack.
  • Wind and waterproof attire. 
  • Layered clothing (preferably wool and down).
