Isla Guanidup is a small Island with 13 cabins and 6 bathrooms. This is a very calm island, not so much crowded and very authentic, the owner is the current senator of Guna Ayala.

The cabins are very clean with sand floor, wooden beds and table. The beach is beautiful, this island is visited by other islands your for its beauty and snorkel, with transparent tourquise color sea, you can see fishes swimming around your feet. From the other side there is a coral reef, ideal for snorkel, there are “barracuda” fishes. Food is traditional, fried fish or lobster or crab with rice and salad.

Kuanidup or Guanidup Island is an island located in San Blas Islands in Panama, only 30 minutes from Carti (San Blas Main port).

 The island is taken care by Petita and Jairo, both are very kind. Island Guanidup is very liked since it has a pool table to play in afternoon or after dinner, and have some drinks there. It is actually a hut-Bar.

Island Guanidup also has a restaurant over the sea where you can try the delicious catch of the day, rice and salad. Or have for breakfast bread and eggs.

In Island Guanidup there are private cabins for up to 3 people with shared bathroom, they have total 6 bathrooms to share.

They also have a amazing white sand beach and it is also know as one nice point to make snorkel, behind the island you can spot big fishes as “barracudas” so don’t forget to ask ot take your snorkel equipment.

Guaidup Island you can arrive via ground transport which makes 2.5 hours to arrive from Panama City to Carti Port. Then 30 minutes in boat and you will arrive to this little paradise.
