Here, a master potter, who lost his sight, creates stunningly beautiful pieces. You'll have the chance to craft your own mezcalero, an emblematic piece featuring a face turned downward, symbolizing Oaxaca's mezcal traditions.

Next, we'll visit the famous alebrije workshop of Jacobo and María, masters in the creation of these colorful and intricate wooden sculptures. Their pieces come with a certificate of authenticity and are considered art investments, as their value increases each year. You'll learn firsthand about the carving and painting process and appreciate the meticulous work that makes each alebrije unique.

Finally, we’ll head to the black clay village, where we’ll visit the workshop of the artisan who revolutionized this craft by developing the technique to give black clay a brilliant finish. Her shop offers a wide range of products at excellent prices, perfect for taking home a piece of this beautiful tradition.
