From Seville: Cerro del Hierro private hiking with pic-nic

Description

Enjoy a unique environment by taking an interpretive hiking route through the mining, almost "Martian" environment of Cerro del Hierro, crossing the different ecosystems that the Green Route leaves behind.

Dehesa, Mediterranean forest and ending with the observation of the birth of a river. The trip begins with pick-up at the hotel/apartment in Seville, with a brief stop for coffee or a bathroom, we reach the top of Cerro del Hierro for the interpretation of the mining environment.

A curious image where we can observe how Nature has taken over the entire mining environment. An almost Martian landscape where we will discover the importance of the mine in the entire region since the 19th century by the English settled in the area.We continue the route through the Sierra Norte Green Route, an old railway line where we will cross beautiful landscapes of Dehesa and Mediterranean Forest.

We end up at the source of the Huesnar River for a snack before visiting the Huesnar waterfalls and enjoying a lunch of local mountain cuisine. After lunch, transfer back to Seville.

The route is about 8 km long and easy, downhill. The tour from pick-up to arrival in Seville lasts approximately 9 hours.
