We will meet at 12:00 pm at the central train station in Bologna. (If you are staying in another city in Tuscany or Emilia Romagna, you can easily reach Bologna by train)

Tour of the Historic Center of Bologna: Discover "La Grassa", "La Dotta", and "La Rossa"

• We will start our tour in the heart of the city, Piazza Maggiore. This is the meeting point for locals and the center of cultural events. Admire the impressive Basilica of San Petronio, one of the largest churches in the world and a magnificent example of Gothic architecture. Don't forget to look at the famous sundial that marks time on the facade!
• From the square, we will walk along Via dell'Indipendenza, the main shopping street in the city. Here, you will find a mix of famous brand stores and local boutiques, as well as narrow medieval streets of the Quadrilatero, filled with colorful markets, charming shops, and tempting aromas.
• We will continue our journey to the iconic Towers of Bologna, the symbols of the city. The Torre degli Asinelli, over 97 meters high, offers a spectacular view after a climb of 498 steps. The panoramic view of the city, with its red-tiled roofs, is breathtaking and a great photo opportunity. (The visit is possible for a fee and only when the Tower reopens)
• Bologna is a city that combines history, culture, and gastronomy in a unique way. With its charming red buildings, irresistible flavors, and rich academic heritage, it's no wonder many visitors fall in love with this place. Come discover Bologna and immerse yourself in its richness. It's an experience you definitely won't want to miss.
• At 2:45 pm we will board to the interior of Bologna to a family-owned historic Winery where we will learn about the production and philosophy, with tasting and a light lunch (Tigele da Nonna with cold cuts) with a panoramic view of the vineyards (alternatively indoors in winter or rain. At the end of the experience, we will take you back to Bologna with an expected return between 5:30 pm and 6:00 pm.
