17 - Two Wineries: with Antinori and Family Winery with tasting and lunch + San Gimignano + Chianti Classico + Chiantigiana

Departure from Florence or Pistoia  (9:00/flexible): Directly from the hotel or meeting point.

1. 3. Cypress Tree-lined road -Photos: Stop at a strategic point and beautiful road lined with cypress trees to take beautiful photos.

2. San Gimignano (10:00)

Known as the medieval Manhattan with its tall and imposing towers. With the beautiful Piazza del Duomo, admiring the imposing Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta and its medieval frescoes, as well as the Piazza della Cisterna, surrounded by medieval towers and full of charming local craft shops. You will also learn about the fascinating history of this beautiful city.

3. Winery in San Gimignano with lunch included (11:30)

Then we will head to the family-owned winery with a production of very high-quality wines where you will learn about the production and taste a selection of 9 labels including Brunello di Montalcino, Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG tradizionale, Riserva, Chianti DOCG tradizionale ... among other important labels, tasting of Balsamic Vinegar and 3 olive oil labels, including truffle. For lunch includes: Hams, salamis, selection of cheeses, including pecorino, a pasta dish as the main course, and dessert.

4. Antinori Winery  (2:30 PM)

We will visit this winery that was awarded as the best winery in 2022. It is one of the most renowned and historic wineries in Tuscany, located in the Chianti Classico region. Designed by architect Marco Casamonti, its modern architecture integrated into the natural environment creates a unique experience. In addition to the impressive structure, the winery offers a stunning view over the vine-covered hills.

5. Arrival at Greve in Chianti (3:30 PM)

Piazza Matteotti: The central square is the heart of Greve in Chianti, surrounded by shops, cafes, and restaurants. Here we will visit Macelleria Falorni, where you can buy the best cold cuts to take home (they pack it in a way that can be taken on the plane). Then we will head to an underground Enoteca, the largest in Chianti with over 1,000 selected labels.

6. Return with arrival at (5:00 PM) - We will end our tour where you prefer: At your Hotel or Piazzale Michelangelo for a beautiful sunset, or at Florence's largest Shopping Mall, I Gigli.
