Day 1: Friday, April 18 – Arrival in Cairo

Your adventure begins as you arrive in the bustling city of Cairo, where you will be met by one of our professional representatives. They will assist you with your luggage and escort you to your hotel for a relaxing evening. Take this opportunity to unwind and prepare for the journey ahead in the heart of Egypt.

Day 2: Saturday, April 19 – Discovering Cairo's Ancient Marvels

Start your day with an early pick-up at 8 AM for a full-day tour of Cairo, beginning with a visit to the legendary Giza Plateau. Here, you’ll explore the iconic Pyramids of Giza, one of the last remaining wonders of the ancient world. Marvel at the grandeur of the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the middle-sized Pyramid of Khafre, and the smallest yet captivating Pyramid of Menkaure. Take in panoramic views from the Western Plateau, perfect for capturing breathtaking photographs.

Next, descend into the valley to meet the majestic Sphinx, a timeless guardian with the body of a lion and the head of a Pharaoh. Admire its enigmatic gaze as it watches over the plateau.

Then, journey to Saqqara, the necropolis of ancient Memphis, to see the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the world’s first monumental stone structure and a precursor to the pyramids of Giza and we will enter inside the Pyramid of Unas.

End the day with a comfortable return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 3: Sunday, April 20 – Cairo National Museum, Saqqara and Flight to Luxor

Begin your day with a visit to the Cairo National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, where you’ll uncover the story of Egypt's cultural evolution.

Afterward, you’ll visit the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), home to the world’s largest collection of Egyptian antiquities. Wander through its galleries and witness treasures from King Tutankhamun’s tomb, including his golden mask and exquisite jewelry. The museum offers a journey through more than 5,000 years of history.

Finally, visit the Citadel of Cairo, a medieval Islamic-era fortification in Cairo, with the amazing panorama of the old city.

In the evening, you’ll take a domestic flight to Luxor, the ancient city of Thebes, where you’ll check into your hotel for a restful night.

Day 4: Monday, April 21 – Exploring Luxor's West Bank and
Start your Nile Cruise

After breakfast, set out to explore the West Bank of Luxor, starting with the legendary Valley of the Kings. Here, descend into the tombs of Pharaohs, including the famed tomb of King Tutankhamun, adorned with vivid murals depicting scenes from the afterlife.

Next, visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a masterpiece of ancient architecture carved into the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari. Admire its terraces and learn about the powerful female Pharaoh who ruled Egypt during the 18th Dynasty.

Pause to marvel at the towering Colossi of Memnon, two massive statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III that have stood for millennia.

After a visit to a traditional Alabaster Factory, board your Nile Cruise and enjoy your first night on the tranquil river.

Day 5: Tuesday, April 22 – Luxor's East Bank and Galabeya Party

Begin your day with a tour of the East Bank of Luxor, visiting the spectacular Karnak Temple Complex, the largest religious structure ever built. Walk along the Avenue of Sphinxes, marvel at the Hypostyle Hall with its 134 massive columns, and see the Obelisks of Hatshepsut and Tuthmosis I. Don’t miss the sacred Lake of Karnak and the Granite Scarab of Amenhotep III.

Continue to the elegant Luxor Temple, dedicated to the Theban Triad of Amun-Ra, Mut, and Khonsu. Explore its majestic courts and admire the statues of Ramses II.

In the evening, enjoy a Galabeya Party on board, where you can dress in traditional Egyptian attire, savor delicious cuisine, and partake in lively games. Spend the night on the cruise as it sails to Edfu, with serene views of the Nile.

Day 6: Wednesday, April 23 – Temples of Kom Ombo and Edfu

Today, visit two of Egypt's iconic temples. Begin at Kom Ombo, a unique double temple dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon-headed god. Admire the reliefs that depict ancient medical practices and see the mummified crocodiles displayed in the temple's museum.

Sail onward to Edfu, home to the remarkably preserved Temple of Horus. This Ptolemaic-era temple is adorned with stunning reliefs and inscriptions detailing its construction and religious ceremonies.

Return to the cruise for dinner and an overnight stay as you sail to Aswan.

Day 7: Thursday, April 24 – Abu Simbel and Aswan

Embark on an early morning journey to the Temples of Abu Simbel, masterpieces of ancient engineering. These temples, built by Ramses II, are famous for their colossal statues and intricate carvings. Learn about their relocation in the 1960s to save them from the rising waters of Lake Nasser.

Return to your cruise for dinner and an overnight stay in Aswan.

Day 8: Friday, April 25 – Aswan High Dam, Philae Temple and Farewell

After breakfast, disembark from the Cruise and visit the stunning Temple of Philae, dedicated to Isis, the goddess of love and magic. This island temple is an architectural marvel and a serene spot surrounded by the waters of the Nile.

Next, visit the Aswan High Dam, an engineering feat that tamed the Nile and provided power to modern Egypt. In the afternoon, you’ll be transferred to Aswan Airport for your flight back to Cairo, concluding your unforgettable Egyptian adventure.
