Kulen Elephant Forest - Half Day

Description
For 26 years, these elephants have given rides to visitors in the temples of the world heritage site. The Kulen Elephant Forest is a haven where these retired elephants can interact freely, and are treated with the greatest care and attention. At the reserve, there are no tricks, no riding, and the elephants are now free to roam and socialize as they please. With 75 remaining captive elephants in Cambodia, the protection of this amazing animal is more critical than ever. A visit to the Kulen Elephant Forest will not only help the elephants of Angkor but all elephants in Cambodia.
Enjoy a leisurely 1 hour drive to the Kulen Elephant Forest where you will be greeted with tea or coffee on arrival before heading out to meet the elephants before heading into the forest together for your half day experience. Morning tours will enjoy lunch at the home base, whilst the afternoon tours will have a sunset picnic before bidding farewell to the elephants and heading back to town.
