Battambang 4 Day / 3 Night Tour

Description
Battambang is one of Cambodia’s most under rated destinations. Located 3 hours to the south of Siem Reap, this is a stunning countryside destination in an area known as the ‘rice bowl’ of the country.
Take a 3 hour private taxi ride from Siem Reap on your first day and enjoy a free afternoon. On day 2 your tour will begin with a village visit, driving a little off-road to see the fishing village, local plantations and including a ride on the Bamboo Train. From here your guide will take you on to Wat Banan temple, climbing all 365 stairs to reach the temple plateau, followed by a stop at the infamous Killing Caves.
Your last stop for the day is Phnom Sampeav, famed for its bat caves. Your guide will take you to his secret mountain spot where you will have a short climb to the top to enjoy a drink as the sun sets, watching the millions of bats fly out for their evening meal. Return to your hostel accommodation for the evening.
The next day is all about village life and trades as you tour around the stunning countryside in Battambang visiting members of the village with your guide along the way. Return to your hotel by lunch time and enjoy a free afternoon to relax or take yourself on a stroll through the main city centre.
On your last day, you will be collected again by your private taxi and transferred back to Siem Reap.
