A private countryside get away to beautiful Giverny! Explore the former residence of world famous impressionist painter Claude Monet. Claude Monet's most distinguished pieces are based on the landscapes and gardens here in Giverny such as the 250 paintings in his Water Lilies series.

The tour starts inside Claude Monet's Giverny House. Claude Monet spent 43 years in his Giverny home. Monet personally chose the decoration, interior, and colours of his home - the pink facade and green shutters; the bright yellow dining room; blue kitchen and sitting room. His home boasts a concoction of solidd and bright colours!

Claude Monet's garden has 2 sections, the Flower Garden known as Clos Normand and the Japanese Inspired Water Garden.

The Flower Garden consists of a medley of rare and common flowers with an assortment of hues and textures. Monet disliked the idea of having a constrained garden so he just let the plants and flowers grow freely.

The Water Garden was inspired by Japanese garden paintings which Monet loved, and so he made one of his own in his Giverny property. He designed the garden himself and pulled creativity from the famous Japanese bridge and water lilies that blossomed the pond. You will have the opportunity to wander through the gardens and walk over the famed green Japanese bridge - perfect spot for photo opportunities during your Giverny tour!

Once the Monet Giverny tour ends, we will then drive back to Paris and drop you off at your hotel at around 2 pm or 7 pm (depends on your pick time).
