PRIVATE CHAUFFEURED TOUR OF MILIA VILLAGE INCLUDING WITH LUNCH & WINERY VISIT

Description

Meet with your local guide/chauffeur in your hotel’s lobby to explore the hidden beauties of Crete!

We start the exploration from the gorge of Samaria and enjoy your lunch time at 1200m altitude (4000ft) with a magnificent view of the White Mountains and the highest summit (Pachnes, 2453m, 8048 ft). Samaria Gorge is a National Park in Greece from 1962 and a world's Biosphere Reserve, from UNESCO. Your delicious lunch will consist of traditional Cretan flavors with seasonal salad, wine, and dessert. We will then visit Sebronas gorge and driving uphill we will approach the White Mountains from the west.

The scenery is changing fast and from the valley with olive, orange, lemon, and avocado trees will be at Sebronas gorge with many chestnut and walnut trees. Many goats and sheep are in the area all year around. Crete has been famous worldwide for its olive oil and wine production for more than 3500 years.

At Anoskeli Winery and Olive Mill you will taste extra virgin and organic extra virgin olive oil. Continue with a winery experience by tasting 5 different labels of local wine, accompanied by Cretan snacks. Admire, hug, and take plenty of photos of the unique 3000 - 5000 years old olive tree which is still productive! We will visit a traditional stone olive mill and will see a small typical farm in Crete.

Time for a cup of coffee/mountain tea or a fresh orange juice, enjoying your time in the countryside.
