53 - Parma with visit and tasting of authentic Parma Ham + Castle Visit + Tour in the City of Parma

Departure from Bologna (8:00 am): Directly from the hotel or meeting point.

1. Parma Ham Salumificio (10:15 am)

The day starts with a visit to a traditional salumificio, where the famous Parma ham is produced. As soon as you arrive, you are surrounded by the unmistakable aroma of cured ham. The local producer, passionate about the region's tradition, will welcome us and explain the production process, which starts with the careful selection of the best pork meats and continues with curing that can last up to 36 months. During the visit, you will be able to admire the maturing cellars and understand each step that makes Parma ham so unique and delicious.

After the visit, we will have the opportunity to taste different types of ham, accompanied by some typical products of the region, such as cheeses, fresh bread, and wine, creating a true explosion of flavors.

2. Castello di Torrechiara - Visit and lunch (12:00 pm)

After the experience at the salumificio, we will head to the stunning Castello di Torre Chiara. This medieval castle, surrounded by picturesque landscapes, not only offers a magnificent setting but also the opportunity to have lunch in an elegant environment. Many local restaurants offer typical dishes from Emilia-Romagna, with fresh ingredients and the traditional cuisine of the region, and you can choose one of these for a unique experience.

During lunch, you can taste a selection of local specialties, such as tortelli d'erbetta or anolini, while enjoying the views of the surrounding countryside and the history emanating from the castle walls.

3. Arrival at Parma Center (3:00 pm)

After lunch, it's time to head to the charming historic center of Parma. Walking through the cobblestone streets, it's impossible not to be enchanted by the city's Renaissance architecture. We will start with the Parma Cathedral, famous for its splendid frescoed ceiling.

Next to it is the Baptistery, a Romanesque masterpiece that enchants with its marble walls and artistic details.

We will stroll through the vibrant streets and squares, like Piazza Garibaldi, where you can sit at a local café and enjoy an espresso while watching life go by.

4. Return with arrival in Bologna (6:00 pm)

1-Pay 25% of the amount through PIX in Brazil with the current tourist euro exchange rate or transfer to Wise account, the remainder must be paid on the day of the tour by the same method or in euros.

2-Pay 25% of the amount of the tour at the time of booking with a card. The remainder must be paid in euros on the day of the tour.

3-Pay the full amount at booking : for full payment at the time of booking, it is possible to do it through PIX in Brazil with the current tourist euro exchange rate or transfer to Wise account.
