STEM at Sea

Description
Students learn the fundamentals of STEM through activities with a backdrop of history, maritime science, and international trade. Secondary program focuses include leadership, teamwork, comradery, and building skills in a unique environment.
Primary STEM Program activities include simple machines, depth measurement, water displacement/ buoyancy, straw projectiles, and a tarp flip team builder. Our STEM at Sea Program aims to engage students in STEM concepts, critical and creative thinking, communication skills, problem solving, team building, risk and reward, and innovation.

Parking lot is owned and operated by the Port of Los Angeles therefore there is a fee of $2.00 an hour for parking with the first hour being free.
