1. Arrival in Assisi (11:45)
Free time for lunch.
Mainly known as the birthplace of Saint Francis of Assisi, founder of the Franciscan Order. The city is an important tourist destination, famous for its historical architecture and beautiful landscapes.
Assisi is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, recognized for its exceptional conservation of the medieval environment, with cobblestone streets, ancient churches, and historic monuments. The Basilica of Saint Francis is one of the main attractions, with magnificent frescoes by artists like Giotto. In addition to its rich religious heritage, Assisi also offers a peaceful atmosphere and stunning views of the Umbrian landscape, with valleys and hills.
With several other points of interest, such as the Basilica of Santa Clara, the Church of Santa Maria degli Angeli, and the Temple of Minerva.
2. We will head to our final destination Florence - arrival (18:00)
