PADI AWARE Coral Reef Conservation Specialty Course

This course offers advanced knowledge on the coral that is the backbone of the Mesoamerican Reef ecosystem. Upon completion, you will not only gain the skills needed to volunteer in our project and gain a diploma, but you will also have a certified PADI Coral Reef Conservation specialty. This course is necessary for anyone who wishes to help with coral restoration efforts in Cozumel and worldwide!

We run this 2 day course weekly, 10am to 4pm, Thursday to Friday. If you can't find a course in our schedule that matches your availability, please contact us directly to see if we can accommodate you.

Interested to also learn about the fish species on the reef, to get a more holistic view of the reef ecosystem? If you bundle with PADI Reef Fish Identification Course, we can eliminate the overlapping course material so you can complete your Fish ID course in 2 days, instead of 3 and with a 10% discount. We run the Fish ID course the following Saturday and Sunday, so you can have 4 consecutive days of ecological diving courses! You can bundle at checkout.

Want to get your Advanced Open Water first and then volunteer with us after? Take the Intro to Coral Reef Restoration as one of your 3 specialty dives and we can eliminate the overlapping course material so you can complete your Coral Reef Conservation Specialty in 1 day instead of 2 and with a 10% discount. As the Coral Reef and Fish ID courses already can be bundled, you can bundle both them with the Advance, for a cumulative 20% discount and finish all 3 courses in just 4 days (Wednesday to Saturday)!
