DAY 1:

HALF DAY • RANO KAU - ORONGO - VINAPU - TAHAI

Begin your tour with a visit to Rano Kau, a vibrant volcano that contains a freshwater lake within its crater. Hear the tale of the legendary "bird man" and admire the fascinating petroglyphs. Explore the ancient ruins of Orongo and marvel at the intricate stonework of the Moai platform at Ahu Vinapu. Finally, visit the Tahai platform, featuring its three principal ahu, from north to south.

DAY 2:  

09:00: PICK UP AT SELECTED HOTEL

FULL DAY • AKAHANGA - RANO RARAKU - TONGARIKI - TE PITO KURA - ANAKENA

Explore the cultural treasures of Easter Island on a tour of its southern coast. At the Akahanga Ceremonial Complex, marvel at the 100-ton basalt moai that guard the sacred grounds. Visit Ahu Tongariki, where 15 moai stand, and Rano Raraku volcano, where you can view nearly 400 moai scattered along the rim in various stages of completion. After a lunch break, we'll visit Te Pito Kura, also known as the Navel of the World, before concluding the day at Anakena Beach. This stunning beach is believed to be the landing site of Hotu Matu'a, who is thought to have discovered the island.

DAY 3

FULL DAY • TREKKING SUBTERRANEAN CAVES - AHU A’KIVI – PUNA PAU

Begin our adventure trekking through four historic caves, following ancient trails and exploring underground passages while sharing legends and ancestral knowledge. The caves we’ll visit include Ana Te Pahu, Ana Kakenga, Ahu Te Peu, and Ana Te Pora. Safety equipment will be provided.

After the cave explorations, we’ll drive to visit Ahu Akivi, a restored platform featuring seven moai uniquely positioned to face the sea. We will also explore Puna Pau, a small volcanic quarry where red scoria stone was extracted to craft the headdresses or ‘topknots’ that adorn some of the moai.

DAY 4

FULL DAY • TEREVAKA HORSEBACK RIDDING - BOAT RIDE TO THE MOTUS & SNORKEL

Begin your day with an unforgettable horseback ride to the highest point of Easter Island’s oldest volcano, where you'll enjoy breathtaking 360º panoramic views of the ocean. After a lunch break (at your own expense), we will head to Hanga Roa Bay for an exciting boat ride around the islets. Here, you'll have the opportunity to snorkel in the crystal-clear waters of Rapa Nui, immersing yourself in its vibrant marine life. (Diving mask and snorkel included.)

DAY 5

HALF DAY • SUNRISE AT AHU TONGARIKI

Experience the magic of Easter Island at dawn as the sun rises behind the majestic Moai statues of Ahu Tongariki, painting the sky with vibrant colors. Enhance the moment with a freshly brewed cup of coffee, served on-site to make your morning even more special.
