Glass Boat Trip around the islets of Rapa Nui

Description

Immerse yourself in an unforgettable experience in the waters of Rapa Nui, the only glass-bottom boat on Easter Island!

For an hour and a half, you'll have the opportunity to marvel at the incredible crystal-clear waters of the Rapa Nui sea and witness its rich marine life.

The boat departs from Hanga Piko every day at 10:30 am. and heads towards the three motus (islets) located in front of the Rano Kau volcano. During the journey, you'll observe the Ana Kai Tangata cave, coral reefs, seabirds, and various varieties of fish. Finally, before returning to port, you'll visit the submerged moai, which is located 22 meters deep in Pea Bay (visibility depends on sea conditions).

If the weather prevents sailing to the motus, we offer a second tour that also departs from Hanga Piko and heads to the area of the Two Windows Cave and Tautara Motu, from where it heads to the Tahai area to see the giant coral. Finally, the tour reaches Pea Bay to see the submerged moai.

As a final touch to the tour (in both options), you'll have a few minutes to swim and enjoy the sea before returning to port.
