Day 1: Hurghada to Cairo Tour
Begin your adventure with a pick-up from your hotel in Hurghada or El Gouna by your tour guide. Travel in a modern, air-conditioned vehicle to the airport for a domestic flight to Cairo. Upon arrival in Cairo, meet your Egyptologist guide and head straight to the Pyramids of Giza (Cheops, Khafra, Menkaure) for an in-depth exploration. Next, visit the Egyptian Museum to see the treasures of the boy king Tutankhamun. After your day of sightseeing, you’ll be transferred to your 5-star hotel in Cairo for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Tour of Alexandria
Start your day with a delicious breakfast before embarking on a 3-hour drive to Alexandria. Visit the Qaitbay Citadel, built in the 15th century near the site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria. Admire the Montaza Palace, showcasing Turkish and Florentine architecture. Then, explore the newly constructed Library of Alexandria. Finish your tour with a visit to the Roman catacombs, carved from rock. At the end of the day, you’ll be transferred back to Cairo for your flight back to Hurghada.
