At 08:30 am you are picked up at your hotel and taken to the Manaus Port. There you will get on the boat, and this is where your Amazon trip begins. First, we go to the meeting of the waters about twenty kilometers downstream. Afterwards, we head to January Lake, traveling through one of the many streams found in the region. You will take a short walk to a spot where you will see the water-lilies and some indigenous handicrafts. We board the boat for lunch. At 02:30 pm the group leaves by a motorized boat to fish for piranha, and when night falls, we'll go Cayman spotting. Then your boat travels upriver where you will spend the night onboard.
Day 2
At 05:30 am we will leave on a motorized boat to see the sunrise, a great opportunity to spot some birds and river dolphins. Back to the mothership for breakfast. At 08:00 am we leave on a jungle walk, where the guide will explain the flora and fauna of the Amazon. After a two and a half-hour walk, you come back to the boat to have lunch. Then your boat leaves upstream to the Anavilhanas Archipelago. At 03:00 pm, in a small boat, you have a chance to get closer to the archipelagos. It is a good chance to see wildlife like birds, monkeys, and other animals. Back on board, you travel to a suitable place to spend the night on board.
Day 3
Breakfast will be served while the boat travels to the Rio Negro river. There will be a stop at an indigenous community where we will go out and visit them, as well as participate in their welcome dance. Then we will move by boat to the other side, to a floating house where you will go swimming with the dolphins, an opportunity to take some photos and videos. We then board the boat again, and lunch is served. Afterwards we will sail down the river back to Manaus, arriving around 04:30 pm. Arriving there, our staff will be waiting for you with the transportation back to the hotel or airport as the client requested.
