7 Day/6 Night Survival Trip

Day 1:
Your Amazon Jungle Tour from Manaus begins with a transfer from your hotel to the Ceasa port at 8am. From the Ceasa port, you and your group will navigate the Rio negro in a speedboat. The journey to the meeting of the waters, where the Rio Negro and Solimoes River meet. From there, you'll continue on to the fishing village of Careiro da Várzea on the other side of the Solimoes River. The group will then travel by car or van for about an hour to the Parana Do Mamori River. The group will continue by speedboat for another 30 minutes to the Lodge at around 11:30am. Lunch is served at noon.
At 2:30 pm, the group will leave by motorized boat to set up camp in the jungle. The guide will set up a fire for dinner as well as hammocks and mosquito net, then everyone can enjoy the night around the fire.
Day 2:
The Amazon jungle is a truly magical place. Every day, it comes alive with the sounds of exotic birds and animals, and the air is filled with the scent of hundreds of different flowers. As the sun rises over the canopy, the forest is bathed in a warm glow, making it the perfect time to explore. That's why, at 05:30 am, we’ll canoe trip is offered to watch the sunrise and get a close-up view of the jungle waking up to a new day. Afterward, breakfast is served at 07:00 am, and then at 08:00 am, a jungle walk starts. This walking tour lasts until 11:30 am, during which time the guide will explain valuable information about the flora and fauna of the Amazon. You'll learn about medicinal plants, spiders, and trees, and you might even get a chance to spot some monkeys. It's an experience you won't soon forget.
The afternoon activity starts at 3 pm. We will go canoeing in a flooded forest and in the small channels. It is a great opportunity to spot some wildlife in the Amazon jungle before heading back to camp to prepare dinner. After dinner, the group leaves by boat to do the cayman spotting, where the guide will catch one by hand and you will have the opportunity to touch and learn more about this prehistoric animal of the Amazon River. Then it's back to camp overnight.
Day 3:
The morning will start with another hike through the jungle, this time focusing on what can be used to survive in the Amazon. The group will learn about different fruits, plants, and creatures that can be found in the jungle and how to use them to their advantage. This will be a great opportunity to get up close and personal with nature and learn more about what the Amazon Rainforesthas to offer. After the hike, it will be time to head back to camp and prepare lunch over the fire. This will be a great chance to relax before heading back out into the jungle.
After lunch, the group packs up their belongings and set off for a new spot to make camp. Once camp is set up, it's time to head out to fish for piranhas and other fish species in the Amazon. The group returns to camp with their catch, and dinner is soon underway. Afterwards, the group heads back out - this time armed with spears and flashlights - to fish like the native people of the Amazon. It's a long night, but eventually they make their way back to camp and settle in for some well-deserved rest.
Days 4:
Breakfast is served, and after breakfast, the group will leave by boat to navigate through the channel and small creeks (depending on the water level). This is a great chance to spot birds and other wildlife. The channels and small creeks offer a perfect opportunity to view some of nature's most beautiful creatures up close. There is an abundance of wildlife that can be seen from the comfort of the boat; making this excursion not only informative, but also relaxing. After a peaceful morning on the water, it will be time to get back to business and set up a new camp for the night, then prepare lunch.
In the afternoon, the group takes a short hike in a new area of the jungle. As night falls, they return to camp and prepare to leave by boat. The guide uses a spotlight to look for wildlife in the region. This is a great opportunity to hear the different sounds of the Amazon jungle at night. Sometimes, they find different species of birds, snakes and more. They return to camp for the night.
Day 5:
After a filling breakfast, it's time to explore the jungle and look for food sources. The hike is relatively easy at first, but soon enough you're trekking through dense undergrowth, looking for anything edible. The guides are experienced in finding food in the jungle, and they quickly find a few fruits and some larvae. It's a strange feeling, eating something that you would never consider back home, but it's all part of the experience. After a couple of hours, you head back to camp for lunch. You're tired from the hike, but it's a good feeling, knowing that you've survived another day in the Amazon.
In the afternoon, the group moves on to another spot to set up a new camp. Once everything is set out, including the tents and the cooking area, the group leaves by boat to fish. They use a spear to catch some fish, which will be prepared for food. Back at camp, they spend the night.
Day 6:
The Amazon jungle is full of surprises. Every day, there is something new to see and learn. Today, we are going to explore a new area. We will be looking for fruit and larvae. We will also learn about what is eatable and what is poisonous. We will also learn about different animals and insects that are venomous. We need to be careful not to mess with them. Then we'll head to camp for lunch.
In the afternoon, the group will leave by boat to set up a net to catch fish. They will also explore the area, looking for wildlife that can be found in this region deep of the Amazon jungle. At nightfall, they will collect the net and see the fish they've caught for dinner, which they will prepare.
Day 7:
After a delicious breakfast, it's time to explore the Várzea Area of the Amazon. During the period of September to March, hiking is the best way to get around and spot some amazing wildlife, including birds, monkeys, and other animals that live in this ecosystem. From April to August, however, the region is inaccessible by foot, so exploring by boat is the only option. Either way, it's a great opportunity to see some incredible sights and learn more about this fascinating part of the world. After a few hours of exploration, it's back to the base for lunch and some well-deserved rest before heading back to Manaus. At 02:00 pm we will depart and arrive in Manaus around 04:30 pm.
