Ice Cave Tour

Description
Welcome to our most popular Ice Cave Tour!
Current October 2026 status:
Due to unusually warm weather and heavy rainfall in recent days, the glacier has changed and it is not possible to safely access the main ice cave at this time. Instead, we are excited to take you on our Blue Ice Glacier Tour, where you’ll step directly onto the glacier to discover vivid blue ice and its ever-changing formations.
Here’s what you can expect on the Blue Ice Glacier Tour:
After a 30-minute ride in our 4x4s and a 1 km walk to the edge of the glacier, you will step onto the ice to explore the glacier’s striking landscape and natural features like blue ice formations and crevasses. The glacier is constantly changing, and our experienced guides carefully choose the best and safest areas to explore each day. Many guests find this tour to be an especially rewarding way to experience the glacier.
