Stefan Richter, a Finnish-born top chef, is the face of Stefan’s Steakhouse restaurants. With a deep passion for food and high-quality ingredients, he has built a remarkable career in the culinary world. While living in Los Angeles, he opened several of his own restaurants but ultimately decided to return to Finland in 2010.
"I have always been proud of my Finnish roots and showcased them in the U.S. One day, Markku Virtanen, the CEO of Restamax at the time, came to meet me and suggested a collaboration. We made a deal on the spot, and I moved back to Finland. Now, I’ve returned to my roots in Suonenjoki, Savonia, where I draw inspiration from nature, the forest, and self-sufficient farming. Finland is an incredible, rich, and beautiful country," Stefan proudly states.
