Sundarijal Day Hiking

Description

Sundarijal Day Hiking to explore historical and cultural sites such as Budhanilkantha temple, Krishna temple and Nagi Gumba (Monastery).  It is located at about 17km far from the north-east of Kathmandu Valley. A name sunjarijal is derived from the Hindu`s god sundarimai.  Sundarijal Day Hiking passes through Shivapuri National Park. It is located in the country’s mid-hills on the northern fringe of the Kathmandu Valley and named after Shivapuri Peak of 2,732 m (8,963 ft) altitude. it is a paradise of wildlife such as Himalaya Black bear, leopard, jungle cat and rhesus monkey, Butterflies and more than 170 species birds. Nevertheless, the mesmerizing view of snow-capped mountains such as Langtang, Dorge Lakpa Himal, and Ganesh Himal will make your trip ideal.

 

Early in the morning our representative or your guide will pick up from hotel. It will take about 30mins to reach our starting point of Hiking from Kathmandu. We back to the hotel about at 4 :15 pm after wrapping up about 6 hours fabulous Sundarijal Day Hiking. This hiking is suitable for those people have limited time but immense desire to see snow-capped mountains and explore Kathmandu valley as well as historical and culture sites within a day.
