Kakani Day Hiking

Kakani Day Hiking is a tremendously popular hiking route to explore Tamang heritage site and Panoramic view of snow-capped mountains. Kakani (2073 meters) is located in the Nuwakot district, about 29 km away and northern side of the Kathmandu Valley. Kakani is a stunning hill station with traditional Tamang settlement that offers the flamboyant view of Snow-capped mountains such as  Mt. Annapurna, Ganesh Himal, Mt. Dhaulagiri etc. One can explore breathtaking sunrise and sunset view from the Kakani viewpoint. The ideal Kakani hiking trail is surrounded by beautiful rhododendron, oak, and pine forest. Thai memorial park built in memory of 113 victims of 1992 Thai air crash is another attraction of Kakani Day Hiking. After, collecting wonderful memories from the Kakani hiking we will back to Kathmandu through overland.
