Description
Nagarjuna Hiking is a devilishly popular, easy and short hiking to the nearest ridge of Kathmandu Valley. The smashing view of Mountains, Nagarjuna Cave, the light of Asia ” Bauddha Stupa”, Buddhist monasteries, Hindus temple, Nagarjuna Palace, Raniban (Queen of Forest), Jamacho viewpoint (2128m) etc. are Cardinal highlights of this trip. Nagarjuna is located north-west of Kathmandu at the elevation of 2128 meters.
The Hiking commences from Bypass then we will walk for 3 and a half before reaching Nagarjuna Hike. Nagarjuna is also tremendously popular for Mediation because of the peaceful environment. Jamacho is the main viewpoint of Nagarjuna from where glorious Himalayan scenery can be captured in the mind. The name Jamacho Peak is another name of Nagarjuna Hike. The stunning views of Jugal, Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Lirung, Dorje Lakpa can be embarked from Jamacho. This hiking would be ideal for those trekkers who have the least time but strong desire to see Himalayan Ranges.
