Manaslu is the 8th highest Himalayan ridge of the world lies at the elevation of 8163 meters and is located in the west-central Part of Nepal near to the Tibet border. Larke Pass is an unspoiled trekking route in the Manaslu region because Nepalese government only permitted in 1991 AD. Manaslu Larke La Pass Trekking offers a combination of rich cultural heritage, unsurpassed beauty, and biological diversity. During this trip, one can see 10 peaks above 6500 meters such as Manaslu peak (8156m), Larke Peak, Naike Peak, Lamjung, Phungi(South Face), Himlung (NW), Cheo Himal etc.
The highest point reached along the Manaslu Larke pass trekking route is the Larke La at an altitude of 5160 meters above from the Sea Level. The spectacular Larke pass trek begins from the historic center of Gorkha after 6-7 hours scenic drive from Kathmandu. The journey pass through ethnic Gurung settlement, rhododendron & oak forests. Any physical fit person can do Larke La pass trek anytime from March to May in Spring Season and September to November in the autumn season.
