The tour starts at Plaza 14 de Septiembre, a typical Latin American main square that commemorates 14 September 1810, when the inhabitants rebelled against the Spanish government. Continue to the imposing Catedral Basílica de San Sebastián, which was built in the 18th century and features a mixture of Spanish Baroque and indigenous Bolivian style. Artists' performances can often be seen here.
One of the next stops is the Church of Santo Domingo, the only religious structure in Cochabamba that resembles the temples of the Andean highlands. before you'll get to the Museo Casona Santivañez, a beautiful building from the 15th-16th century that now houses old photographs, paintings and restored rooms in the Louis XV style.
