Carlisle Bay Swimming Horses, Breakfast and Beach Day

Description
Horse racing first became popular in Barbados back in the 19th century, at a time when horses were the main means of transport. The Garrison is a part of the UNESCO World Heritage site of Historic Bridgetown and its Garrison & once Britain’s largest military installation in the Eastern Caribbean.
Whilst watching the horses race on the beautiful green turf is a highlight for some others prefer to enjoy watching these beautiful race horses take their morning sea bath and exercise on Pebbles Beach.
.
On This excursion we will collect you from your hotel and take you around the Garrison pointing out historical landmarks & sights like the Main Guard & the house where George Washington stayed on his visit to Barbados as a young man. We will then make our way to Pebbles beach to watch the horses swim & play.
After watching the horses we will make our way to Savvy On The Bay to enjoy a tasty breakfast. After breakfast relax on the beach where a sun lounger & shared umbrella await you.
If you want to make your day extra special book our upgraded package inclusive of our 80 minute turtle and shipwreck snorkel adventure aboard Tranquility Cruises.
