The route of the Moai - Group Tour

Description
This experience will take you to explore the important archaeological sites of Rapanui, each revealing the mysteries of this ancient culture. We begin by picking you up from your hotel and heading to Ahu Akahanga, where you'll find Moai statues lying on the ground. Local legends say this is the burial site of Hotu Matua, the island's first king. Next, we visit Rano Raraku, a sacred quarry where nearly 400 Moai were sculpted. One of the Moai, almost 21 meters tall, was never detached from the quarry, and how the Moai were transported remains a mystery.
We continue to Ahu Tongariki, home to 15 restored Moai on a majestic platform. Then, we head to Te Pito Kura, where the largest Moai, Paro, once stood, along with the famous magnetic stone, believed to be the 'navel of the world.' Finally, we finish the tour at Anakena Beach, where two restored Moai platforms, Ahu Ature Huki and Ahu Nau Nau, offer stunning views and the best-preserved Moai on the island. Relax on the beach with its white sand, palm trees, and turquoise waters.
