Description
Valtellina is one of the hidden gems of northern Italy just two hours drive north of Milan. If you are a wine lover, this is an extraordinary destination to visit. Valtellina is the largest terraced area of vineyards in Italy with its 2,500 kilometers of picturesque vineyards built over the centuries and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During our tour you will visit the picturesque village of Varenna and through the panoramic road on Lake Como we will reach Morbegno where we will visit an ancient Bottega from 1883. Then in Traona in a dairy to taste local cheeses. Lunch in a family restaurant where you will taste the famous typical "pizzoccheri" dish. The tour continues after lunch until your last stop - a visit to a historic winery in the Valtellina Cantine Nera.
