Pesto experience between Portofino and Cinque Terre

Description

The setting of the experience is inside a 900-year-old palace, in a Genoese-style apartment with spacious halls and a modern equipped kitchen. The marble mortar, the Genovese DOP basil, the pine nuts, the extra virgin olive oil, the garlic, the salt, the Parmigiano Reggiano, and the Pecorino: the perfect ingredients for a challenge in preparing the most tasty and balanced Genoese pesto. A good amount of manual skill and a bit of training, following the instructions of the food storyteller Fabio Bongiorni, for an engaging experience as a couple or in a group. After a toast with a glass of Ligurian Vermentino, you will taste your pesto with a sampling of handmade trofie al pesto, along with a good aperitif based on focaccia and other typical bruschette, ending with the inevitable Italian coffee.
